Is it okay to be wildly crazy about your job? Is it okay to be content with where you are at in life without being complacent?
Today, I would like to use this space to thank God for the incredible and wonderful opportunity to be part of the ministry of Infuzion®. It has been an incredible journey that has been filled with significantly high moments, along with some gut wrenching seasons of wondering whether or not the ministry would be able to continue.
We have an awesome team that is pouring themselves out to reach people with the Gospel message every weekend. They are open, vulnerable, authentic, and incredibly teachable. It’s hard to believe that we have been doing this for five years with so many different team members and dynamics. I’m glad that so many others have been part of this adventure and able to connect with the different sort of ministry that Infuzion is!
I know that many people go to their different jobs, take on certain responsibilities and they come away tired, exhausted, and on the brink of burnout. The ministry of Infuzion is an exhilarating journey that is always going through different cycles and while we don’t sit still, we do remember to rest and enjoy this unique dynamic of ministering alongside one another. I don’t want to ever take what I do lightly, but I do feel like I have the best job in the world! The great thing is that I have the chance to do it with some incredible people hungry to reach this generation for Jesus.
So, tonight I count my blessings and thank and praise God for the chance to lead this team. This ministry is His, it always has been. I am grateful for an incredible wife and kids that are flexible with me when I am in the middle of a ten day road trip.
I think in order us to keep our edge and remain fresh, we need to remember how blessed we are with the opportunities that are before us. Take the chance tonight to count your blessings and how you have the opportunity to be part of God’s Kingdom work in your sphere of influence. It’s truly and awesome calling and experience. Grow in this reality instead of being focused on the personal burnout of the day to day grind. You are made great in God, go live out this reality by His leading!
Much Love, Jay
