It all began about a year ago. There was a shift that started in the lives of a few of the team members of Infuzion®. Life circumstances were happening and the plans that we had expected to take place were radically transformed.
Because of all the changes that were happening to the team, I began wondering what my role was in all of this. I had the five year goals which later became expectations. We were, at the time, talking about putting together two travel teams because of the ministry opportunities that were happening. For lack of a better way of saying it, emotionally the transitions that took place made me feel like I was coming to a dead end.
It has been an incredible season and an emotional roller coast ride, but I have to believe that I am doing what I am suppose to at this point in my life. I have some future goals, but instead of them becoming expectations, I am learning to approach these more along the lines of dreams and desires. Within the mindset, there is a massive difference between these two understandings. Living for expectations instead of dreams puts things into a different light.
For Untorn® tonight, we are going to be walking through the process of the internal conflict that takes places that wonders if you are doing the right thing in life. We are also going to look at what it means to have your mind renewed and transformed.
I don’t want to mislead you and think that I have it all figured out. I don’t! This is simply a work in process and I hope that in our time together tonight for Untorn that we can share our experiences and these different, confusing seasons of life with one another.
Our plans are interrupted by things that go beyond our control. Let’s get our hearts ready for what we are going to look at tonight on the broadcast at 8p. I hope that you are able to join in!
